In order to provide the educational and supportive services necessary for women and children to make changes in their lives, the Learning Center is an integral part of the SAFE Transitional Housing facility. Adult residents receive educational services including basic literacy, computer skills, GED preparation, life skills and parenting.
Children receive tutoring geared to their basic needs after a meeting with their teachers in public school.
Particular focus is given to awareness in the dangers of drugs and the promotion of non-violent behavior.
