1981 – 2006 Funding Sources
In 1981 SAFE’s funding came through bake sales, hot dog sales and individual donations.
It was not until 1985 that SAFE received their first grant to provide assistance to domestic
violence victims by the Department of Health and Human Resources through Title XX
funding.
